He left the comforts of his childhood home as the son of a Chief Justice in Thrissur to live frugally near his guru GNB in Chennai, dedicating himself fully to Carnatic music through the 1960s.
3✈️ During the Indian government's Cultural Scholarship period, Ramachandran trained under M.L. Vasanthakumari, expanding his stylistic depth beyond GNB's influence in the late 1960s.
