1. In 1983, in Gujarat, Suresh Kumar Neotia co-founded Gujarat Ambuja Cements Limited with Narotam Sekhsaria, sparking a transformation in India's cement industry.
2. 🌟 By the late 1990s, Neotia expanded the Ambuja Neotia Group by acquiring ACC Limited, pushing the combined production capacity beyond 22 million tonnes and establishing a market cap over ₹152 billion.
3. In 2008, he received the Padma Bhushan from the Indian government, officially recognizing his impact on trade and industry after decades of industrial growth.
4. As chairman till 2009, Neotia then transitioned to Chairman Emeritus, handing leadership to Sekhsaria but maintaining a guiding role until his death in 2015.
