2. In 1983, he founded Apollo Hospitals in Chennai, marking a major shift as India’s first professionally run corporate hospital chain, pioneering private healthcare in the country.
3. 🌍 By 2024, Apollo Hospitals had grown to over 73 facilities nationwide, incorporating tele-health services like tele-cardiology and eICU, connecting remote patients to specialists.
