🌟 In 2016, at the World U20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, Neeraj Chopra set a world junior record with a javelin throw of 86.48 meters, marking the first time an Indian athlete set a world record in athletics.

In 2020, at the Tokyo Olympics held in 2021, Chopra clinched the gold medal with a throw of 87.58 meters, becoming the first Asian javelin thrower to win Olympic gold and the youngest Indian to win an individual Olympic gold on debut.
