In November 1923, Mian Bashir Ahmed was born in Pehalnar Wangath, Kangan village, Ganderbal district, Kashmir, into a lineage of Sufi saints including his father Mian Nizam-u-Din Larvi and grandfather Baba Jee Sahib Larvi, anchoring his spiritual and political roots in the region.

🌿 Between 1967 and 1983, he won four consecutive elections to the Jammu and Kashmir State Legislative Assembly from Kangan and Darhal constituencies, never losing a single election throughout his political career.
3As a minister, he served under prominent leaders such as Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, Mir Qasim, and Bakshi Ghulam Mohammad, holding portfolios including Deputy Minister (1971, 1977) and Minister of State (1977-1980), shaping policies for tribal communities.
