Manohar Gopalkrishna Prabhu Parrikar was an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party who served as the eighth Chief Minister of Goa, going on to serve a total of four times between 2000 and 2019. He also served as the Union Minister of Defence from 2014 to 2017. In 2020, he was posthumously awarded the Padma Bhushan.
