Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak (Bengali pronunciation: [ɡajotri t͡ʃɔkɾoborti spiβak]; is an Indian scholar, literary theorist, and feminist critic. She is a University Professor at Columbia University and a founding member of the establishment's Institute for Comparative Literature and Society.
